The Africa dancehall king Shatta Wale has hilariously thrown a challenge to Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. When questioned who he would like to compete against on the ‘What You don’t Know’ quiz show, the Shatta Movement leader quickly mentioned Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. The host reiterated what Shatta Wale said by mentioning Sarkodie’s real name, Michael Owusu Addo, he then asked Shatta the real name of Stonebwoy and he jokingly stated that he is called Satekla Moses. All those who were present burst into laughter after his funny response in the video obtained by Bigjay Shatta Wale further stated that they can add Samini to compete against him if they made up their minds to do so. Ghanaian reggae/Africa dancehall king  Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has disclosed his readiness to help develop talents in the country. He bemoaned in an interview with MzGee on 3FM’s Showbiz 927 that many talents in the country are not getting the needed support to exhibit what they have been gifted with.While he is willing to help some of these talents, the Shatta Movement boss called on others to do the same. He stressed the lack of adequate investors in the Ghanaian music business is very worrying. Ghanaian gospel musiccan, Celestine Donkor, has disclosed she was attacked by armed robbers in her home on Tuesday, Oct 2020. Narrating how it all happened in a Facebook post, she said the armed robbers attacked her between the hours of 1:am and 2:00 am. Per the report, Owusu Fordjour was apprehended and granted bail at the   Magistrate Court in Asokore-Mampong after he organized a fake award at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

The Ghana Gaming Commission has banned betting companies from using celebrities in their advertisement or as ambassadors. The decision, they have explained, is due to the increasing number of celebrities endorsing betting companies – an action many say could lure young fans into gambling. Earlier this year, Nadia Buari, Wendy Shay, Efya, Jackie Appiah, Moesha Boduong, Salma Mumin, Selly Gally, Zynell Zuh, Sandra Ankobiah, Lilwin, and KiDi were all signed as ambassadors for Bet Planet, the biggest betting company in Ghana. In a new guideline issued for operators, the Commission stated that companies cannot encourage people to bet using these individuals with huge social media following. “Operators shall not use celebrities in their advertisements to entice the general public to gamble,” the statement read.
