People in tema west constituency have called for the resignation of (MP)

Some of the young people in Accra tema west constituency have called for the resignation of Carlos ahenkorah, member of parliament as the leader of the constituency. This statement comes after the tema west (MP) unprofessional conduct. During the 8th parliament speaker's vote 

In that regard, on Monday some constituency opened a petition book to gather signature at different location in the constituency. From Monday, January 11 /2020 to Wednesday, January 13,the petition booklet will be open to anyone 

Carlos ahenkorah was caugh snatching ballot paper during live coverage of the inauguration of the 8th parliament as he sped off to the exit door. In the meantime the group indicated that it would compile a petition to parliament in the days ahead for Carlos ahenkorah to removed as a member of parliament some Ghanaians voiced displeasure and concern at the action displayed on 7 January by parliamentarians

University of Ghana assignments will now be marked over 70 per-cent

Student of university of Ghana will be graded over 70 percent for assignments while examination results are marked over 30 percent as against the reverse that until now, was the practice at the tertiary institution.  The decision according to the deam of student of the university professor Godfrey Alufar bokpin is occasioned by the difficulties brought to learning and teaching due to the out break of the covid19. He added that student retuning to school will have limited academic work and so more emphasis would be concentrated on assignments more than it would be on examinations.  Prof. Bokpin made this known in an interview in Accra during which he assured student that their concerns to the university management have all been taken into consideration and that they have put in all necessary adjustments to ensure the planned short time for the semester is without any challenges.
