Akufo Addo names five-member team as spokespersons for the Presidential Election

Ghanaian  President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has set up a five-member team as spokespersons for the Presidential Election Petition filed by John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the NDC in the 2020 polls. In a statement signed by Frank Davies, Head, Legal Directorate for the President mentioned Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Member of Parliament, Ofoase Ayirebi, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, National Communications Director, NPP as part of the spokespersons. manager of Africa dancehall king Shatta Wale, Bullgod real name Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson has been arrested by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) formerly Bureau of National Investigation (BNI). Reports are scanty as to reasons sighted for his arrest, but one can link this arrest to his statements made on UTV’s United Showbiz where he asserted that President Akufo Addo will not finish his term of office if he fails to pay customers of Menzgold. This statement made by Bullgod was widely condemned by some netizens on social media who described the statement as a threat to the president.  According to a reliable source, the artiste manager was picked up at Adabraka, a suburb in Accra, he was handcuffed and whisked away in a Toyota V8 vihecle.
